Platte Valley 100% Straight Corn Whiskey, Or the whiskey in ceramic: it is impossible not to be fascinated by the external casing of this whiskey, whiskey traditional that comes from the United States. Let's take a step back more than a century, in 1919, at the beginning of Prohibition: it is impossible to consume and produce whiskey throughout the United States, so consumers and producers have to resort to various devices to continue to console themselves with the whiskey which has now become illegal. The distilleries continue to produce clandestinely, often in the light of the moon alone so as not to attract the forces of order (moon shine) and have to move the whiskey in unusual containers, again to avoid too many unwanted checks. Ceramic becomes a valuable part of this trade, so McCormick decided to use this material for it whiskey made from pure American corn.
The McCormick distillery is also committed to the environmental front, managing to drastically reduce the consumption of paper and plastic and committing itself to planting trees every year.
TASTE: Sweet intensity, from ripe fruit to caramel, spicy notes and cereal biscuits.
AGING: American oak virgin barrels.
