700ml BOTTLE
Robert Burns Arran Single Malt is a single malt built around the whisky of the Arran distillery with additions from other Scottish distilleries, but above all it is the only one whisky in the world to be a sort of sponsor of the World Burns Federation, or a worldwide assembly of all fans of the work and life of Robert Burns.
Robert Burns was a Scottish poet and composer, born in 1759 and died in 1796. His work made him the most famous of all poets in the Scots language, the language still used today in Scotland and Ulster, a legacy cultural heritage of an ancient past but never more important to the Scottish people than today. The poet was so important to the history of Scotland that every year – on 25 January – his life and work are celebrated with the famous Burns Supper: it is therefore impossible to ignore the part relating to whisky Scottish on these occasions, and which one whisky better than this Arran to celebrate the talent of this eighteenth-century man?
TASTE: Creamy, lemon custard, citrus, spices and cinnamon.
