700ml BOTTLE
Scapa The Orcadian Skiren is one of whisky more authentic Scots due to the geographical location of the company, in the extreme north of Scotland, on an island of Orkney. If Scotland certainly isn't known for its mild weather, the northern part, with its jagged coasts and islands bathed by the Atlantic Ocean which pushes up to here with force, is even more extreme, giving rise to a whisky which perfectly reflects these extreme conditions not only of work but also of life.
Scapa was one of the most northerly distilleries in Scotland for decades and, while producing a limited amount of whisky, has always been appreciated by connoisseurs for the sincerity of its distillate: Scapa The Orcadian Skiren is the latest born in the distillery, a whisky without reference to age which is aged only in oak barrels that have previously contained American Bourbon, according to the tradition of recent decades. Despite the area of origin, Scapa The Orcadian Skiren manages to maintain an elegance without borders, a sign of great quality.
TASTE: Delicate and elegant, sweetness of dried fruit, honey and orange peel.
AGING: American oak first-fill barrels.
