Smokehead was founded in 2006 by the historic Scottish producer Ian MacLeod, owner of the Tamdhu and Glengoyne distilleries. This whisky presented in a packaging with a modern and aggressive look, it is produced by a distillery whose name is kept strictly secret. A single malt Scotch Whisky intensely peaty with no indication of age.

These characteristics combined with a strong and balanced flavor have allowed Smokehead to win several awards including a gold medal at the "Scottish Field Whisky Challenge", gold medal at "The Wine and Spirit Design Awards", the "Best Dark Spirit Trophy" and "Overall Trophy for Design of the Year".

Smokehead Single Malt is a whisky without compromises, as recalled by the not exactly reassuring label: dealing with a whisky of the island of Islay must be a moment of attention because the peculiarities of these spirits are the intensity, the gustatory and olfactory power, the length in the mouth and the many notes that overlap during tasting.
