The Talisker Bodega Series is an exploration of refinements in Sherry Cask, illustrating the rarity and preciousness of the liquid ... a story that only Talisker can tell. The Master of Malts pays tribute to the close relationship Talisker had with Sherry and created an exceptional Single Malt Scotch Whisky aged 41 years. Its maritime scents and elegant fruity notes are enhanced by the refinement in ex-Sherry Manzanilla barrels. It tastes just as good with or without a drop of water.
TASTE: Attractive on the palate, the texture is very fine and slightly oily. The taste begins sweetly fruity - white grapes and sultanas - then becomes salty, before ending hot and peppery. While the sweet waves of taste spread throughout the palate, notes of spicy spices and notes of fragrant smoke are perceived. A great balance.
AGING: European barrels ex Sherry Manzanilla.
