Teeling Small Batch Rum Cask is another innovative experiment for Teeling, an Irish distillery in Dublin with undoubted quality. Since 2015 Teeling has earned a place in the hearts of lovers of whiskey (not just Irish) from all over the world, thanks to an attachment to Dublin roots and the Irish tradition of malt in all its forms, beer and whiskey first of all. The distillery is located near the Blackpitts district where the city's malthouses are located (and many more once were), i.e. the establishments responsible for transforming barley into malt, a fundamental ingredient of whiskey and some beer.

After having reached an important qualitative level, the Teeling family decided to experiment with some particular barrels in which to refine – for a limited and final period – their whiskey: in this case the finish takes place in barrels that previously contained Rum, thus creating small lots that are always different from each other, with a unique character.

TASTE: Good intensity that reveals a dense palate, of spices and fruity notes, of caramelized fruit and herbaceous notes.

AGING: Oak barrels and ex Rum oak barrels.
