Glengoyne is a distillery that boasts a great reputation for being located near the city of Glasgow and for this reason it is often chosen as a destination to visit when arriving in Scotland, both for its geographical convenience and for the character of the whisky by Glengoyne, extremely elegant and gentle despite an important depth. The beauty of Glengoyne also lies in the refinements which are often prolonged and smooth out the harshness of the starting distillate. In this case it was decided to bottle a whisky quite young by Glengoyne standards, i.e. only (so to speak) nine years old, also trying to maintain an important alcohol percentage.
