Whisky The Ileach Peated Islay Malt Cask Strength
700ml BOTTLE
The Ileach Peated Islay Malt Cask Strength is the full grade version of the malt of the brand The Ileach, in Gaelic jargon "man of Islay" to indicate the origin, or the Scottish island home of whisky most famous peat in the world. The Ileach is a brand owned by Brian Crook and, although it doesn't have much fame in Italy yet, it's starting to appear, also thanks to the high quality with which Brian selects the barrels to be included in this bottling. Brian worked for many years at Bowmore, an Islay distillery, before leaving and dedicating himself to selling on his own, creating this brand The Ileach which contains bottlings with no indication of origin, as often happens in this market.
It would be obvious to define this whisky as son of Bowmore, but the mystery persists and will never be fully revealed…we just have to taste this whisky, especially because it is kept at the cask level and therefore able to satisfy even the most extreme palates and in search of strong sensations.
TASTE: intense and rustic, abundant spices and peat, dried fruit, citrus fruits, iodine and salt
AGING: in oak barrels
