Tobermory 18 Year Old The Old Malt Cask Hunter Laing is a whisky from single cask distilled at the Tobermory distillery and selected by the well-known independent bottler Hunter Laing. A close relative of the guru Douglas Laing, today Hunter Laing can boast an extensive catalog to say the least with hundreds of bottlings under his belt, preferring the single cask - as in this case - to give his own version of the whisky of a particular distillery, especially if it is a non-prominent distillery like Tobermory. Although it is not well known in Italy, Tobermory can boast a high quality distillate and the long aging of eighteen years will have only consolidated this organoleptic pleasantness. A whisky from other times, not to be missed
