Whisky Tomatin 15 Year Old Moscatel Finish
700ml BOTTLE
Tomatin 15 Year Old Moscatel Finish is a limited edition bottle that Tomatin launched on the market a few years ago to give its vision of a particular type of refinement, i.e. a final period of about five years in barrels that previously contained Moscatel wine . The peculiarity of this treatment is not only due to the choice of casks used, but also to the decidedly long time, a period of time which could prove to be too important for the distillate to digest, risking making it too characterized by this type of cask. In reality, Tomatin has the possibility, given the size of the plant and the aging warehouses, to manage a large number of barrels and choose only the perfect ones to compose all the whisky branded Tomatin, whether they are expressions of the core range or limited editions like this one.
Tomatin is located a short distance from Inverness and was founded in 1897. After a not exactly positive period, the distillery has returned to its old glory making it known all over the world.
