Especially in recent years, many distilleries have decided to reduce the number of bottlings with declared age by switching to the so-called whisky with no age statement (NAS), a practice permitted by law.

Tomintoul keeps proposing whisky with declaration of age without delay, arriving at this 16 years of extreme elegance and unique depth due to the important refinement. The barrels selected for this Tomintoul 16 Year Old are ex Bourbon, personally chosen by Robert Fleming, the fourth Tomintoul Master Distiller since 1964, the year this Speyside distillery was founded.

TASTE: Extremely elegant, without out of place notes, yet again fruity sweetness and custard, dried pastry and dried fruit. Apple, yellow pear and honey, spicy and caramel hints for a satisfying and long-lasting finish.
