Whisky Tomintoul Peaty Tang
700ml BOTTLE
Tomintoul is configured as one of the most elegant distilleries in the whole of Scotland: the practice of distillation is constantly perfected and the aid of tall stills, with a very high neck which forces the heaviest components to stop along the way and not end up in the distillate conclusive. This feature is particularly appreciated with regard to i whisky elegant and refined, where the edges and bumps are reduced to a minimum, for a refined drink suitable for the finest palates.
In addition to this peculiarity due to the distillation, Tomintoul has decided to broaden its horizons by adding in its range a whisky peaty, i.e. this Tomintoul "with a peaty tang", i.e. Tomintoul with a peaty tang: the peat is sustained and makes up a mix of whisky peat about 5 years old e whisky unpeated about 8 years old. An experiment that the distillery maintains for about two weeks a year, for a whisky elegant but also with a relevant personality.
TASTE: The first impact is peaty, then leaving room for fresh notes of yellow fruit and citrus, with the spices and softness of caramel to emerge. The smoked blanket is still present and persistent.
