Torabhaig is the second distillery of whisky Scottish to have been built on the Isle of Skye, after Talisker; although the project was born in the 70s, the permits to work on the distillery arrived only in 2002. Following a careful restoration that lasted 4 years, Torabhaig was born, which became fully operational in January 2017.

 The first whisky of the Legacy Seires Label is the Torabhaig Legacy 2017, a Single Malt Scotch Whisky particularly peated produced with "concert" type malt with a phenolic content of 55-60ppm. Fermented with Pinnacle MG+ yeasts and aged in ex Bourbon barrels. whisky it is then bottled without cold filtration or the addition of colorants to a phenolic residue of 16ppm.

TASTE: Strongly peaty notes with a refined character and maritime hints on the palate.

AGING: First-fill American oak ex Bourbon barrels.
