700ml BOTTLE
Single Malt Scotch Whisky which was distilled on the Isle of Islay by Caol Ila in 1984 and bottled in 2019 after 35 years in hogshead refill casks, thanks to independent bottler Douglas Laing. It is released for the XOP (Xtra Old Particular) range at the natural alcohol content of 48.6% vol with a production of only 268 bottles.

The XOP bottlings represent Douglas Laing's “family jewels”; only the best Single Casks of the Laing family are released with this label. Each expression is bottled as Natural Cask Strength and presented in a luxurious wooden box, with a glass stopper and an individually numbered certificate and label.
TASTE: Subtle and sweet, menthol notes with peat in the background. Spicy finish with ash.
AGING: Hogshead refill oak barrel.
