Whisky XOP Macallan 25 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
Single Malt Scotch Whisky which was distilled by Macallan in the Speyside region in 1993; in 2019 it was bottled after 25 years in hogshead refill casks, thanks to the independent bottler Douglas Laing. It is released for the XOP (Xtra Old Particular) range at a natural alcohol content of 51.6% vol with a production of only 280 bottles.

The XOP bottlings represent Douglas Laing's “family jewels”; only the best Single Casks of the Laing family are released with this label. Each expression is bottled as Natural Cask Strength and presented in a luxurious wooden box, with a glass stopper and an individually numbered certificate and label.
TASTE: Peppery at first, with the sweetness of honey and more delicate spices. In the finish, the initial hints are detected.
AGING: Oak barrel refill hogshead.
