Balblair 12 Year Old is a whisky of the Scottish Highlands which was born in a peculiar distillery, the classic old distillery that anyone can imagine thinking of the magical world of whisky Scottish. We are in the Highlands with greenery as far as the eye can see thanks to the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, the constant winds that eliminate all traces of humidity and the recurring rain, a companion of any summer or winter day. Here Balblair has been opening its gates for some time and in recent decades it has decided to modernize its proposal, starting from a complete restyling of the packaging and structure of its offer, of its core range: some time ago Balblair worked by offering whisky vintage with the year of origin on the label, preferring this criterion to the classic Age Statement that most other distilleries adopt.
Today Balblair has also understood the value of the number of years of refinement on the label, renewing both this more technical part and perfecting the packaging which today lives in great elegance after a past with the famous squat and round barrels, sometimes difficult to handle. This new packaging matches the character of the whisky of Balblair, a whisky proudly Highland but at the same time contemporary, elegant and enveloping, like a soft wool blanket protecting against the cold winter.
