CARTON BOTTLE 700ml - Benromach 2006 Wood Finish Sassicaia is a Single Malt distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2015 at an alcohol content of 45% vol, characterized by aging in ex Sassicaia barrels. Sassicaia is a Super Tuscan produced by Bolgheri in Tuscany and is one of the most prestigious and well-known Italian wines in the world.

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky manufactured by Benromach for its "Wood Finish" limited edition; this expression distilled in 2006 was aged for seven years in ex Bourbon barrels and aged in ex Sassicaia barrels for 18 months, which the distillery obtained thanks to the historic collaboration between Gordon & MacPhail and Meregalli, historic Italian importer and distributor of Sassicaia.

TASTE: Rich and peppery with subtle fruity and slightly peaty notes.

AGING: First fill American oak ex Bourbon barrels and oak barrels that contained Sassicaia.
