Benromach 2013 Cask Strength Batch 01 is the first release for this whisky new, i.e. a full-grade version of whisky distilled at the Benromach distillery and aged for over nine years in first fill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak barrels. Benromach is a well-known and long-lived distillery, although in recent years the change in packaging and various internal changes have brought a breath of fresh air to this Speyside distillery, bringing its name back into vogue with new and innovative products, including this Benromach 2013 Cask Strength Batch 01. Being able to offer your fans a whisky at full strength it is an encouraging sign, managing to bottle a quality product that is not diluted with water but remains firm and intense, exactly as it came out of the barrel. In this case, Benromach 2013 Cask Strength Batch 01 is made up of 33 barrels hand-selected by the company team and united in marriage, barrels distilled in 2013 from which this whisky left at 59,7%. Benromach 2013 Cask Strength Batch 01 is a whisky of an absolute level that must be appreciated in all its impetuosity.
