The Bruichladdich distillery was built in 1881 by the Harvey brothers, it was recently dismantled and rebuilt but the Victorian equipment that is still used today has been maintained and the methods used by the craftsmen of the distillery have also remained unchanged. The Bruichladdich distillery is located in Scotland on the Isle of Islay where four liqueurs are distilled: Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte, Octomore and Gin Dry The Botanist Islay. The barley used is Scottish and the water comes from the island's springs.
The range of whisky Bruichladdich is not peated, while i whisky Port Charlotte and the Octomore range of products, on the other hand, are heavily peated and bottled with high alcohol content.
