Octomore Edition 13.1 5 Year Old is a whisky very particular, proposed by one of the most innovative distilleries in the entire Scottish panorama, namely Bruichladdich. In recent years Bruichladdich has distinguished itself for its experiments and in this case it has made school: Octomore is in fact the whisky most peated in the world and in this case the Parts Per Million of peat are only 137,3. The experiment went so well that Octomore became part of Bruichladdich and today it is unthinkable to think of the world of whisky Scottish without mentioning this brand.

In this case, Octomore Edition 13.1 5 Year Old is a whisky five years aged in a mix of ex bourbon and ex Tennessee oak barrels whiskey, with a final passage in American oak barrels for a further addition of three-dimensionality. Octomore has always been an object of admiration and often becomes a collector's item due to the small quantities in which it is offered.
