Whisky Bunnahabhain 2008 Duncan Taylor The Octave
700ml BOTTLE
The bottle in front of us is not a classic bottle of whisky, but a whisky limited edition on which some details need to be specified. The distillery of origin is Bunnahabhain, a distillery on the island of Islay or the Scottish island considered the homeland of whisky peated, while Bunnahabhain tends to be responsible for whisky unpeated, including this one. Additionally, Duncan Taylor is a breeding company of whisky produced by other distilleries and of which he checks the refinement and then puts them on the market under his own brand. If all this were not enough, the selection in question ages for ten years in smaller barrels, called Octave Cask, with a capacity of about 50 liters of distillate.
Duncan Taylor is one of the most famous independent bottlers in Scotland, born in Glasgow in 1938 and since then he has never stopped buying high quality barrels for the most demanding palates. The bottle is 1 of 102, making it a one of a kind.
TASTE: The high alcohol content makes the whisky intense and powerful, with multiple fruity components and spices to complete an important palate with character.
AGING: American oak barrels.

Finishing | American oak barrels. |
AROMA | Aromas of brioche with apricot jam, butter and the classic iodized and maritime hints of Bunnahabhain. The fruity part is large and fresh, seductive. |
Cartoned | Si |
