Rum El Dorado 12 Years Old
CARTONED BOTTLE 700 ml
Rum has been produced in the Demerara region for over 300 years. These rums are now considered the best in the world. In particular, in Guyana the distillation of rum and the cultivation of sugar cane have been present since 1600 thanks to the land reclamation works. The sugar cane imported and planted on the banks of the Demerara begins to adapt to the climate, producing a very sugary and nutrient-rich raw material. The first rum producers were the British who developed particular distillation techniques.
In this case, for the rum El Dorado 12 YO, the distillery has assembled rums distilled in the Coffey Still, rums distilled in the Single Pot Still and other more aged rums by selecting the barrels collections of Demerara Distillers. Its aging proceeds for 12 years in American ex-Bourbon oak barrels.
An extraordinarily complex structure, elegant and complex, perfectly balanced, ideal inserted in important cocktails or to be drunk neat after a meal.
TASTE: Intense, notes of candied fruit, tobacco, exotic fruit with hints of orange peel. Hazelnut and white chocolate in the finish
