Hampden Estate HLCF Classic
700ml BOTTLE
Hampden Estate HLCF Classic is a rum from Jamaica proposed by one of the symbolic distilleries of the nation and the world of rum, founded in 1753 and since 2009 responsible for refinements that in just a few years have made it a symbol of the renaissance of rum. Today rum is no longer a spirit suitable exclusively for distillation but can boast an organoleptic depth equal to other noble spirits, thanks to distilleries such as Hampden who have been able to give vigor to this movement with high quality products. This Hampden Estate HLCF Classic is a rum with an important ester content, between 400 and 600 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol, and the acronym HLCF certifies this level, a level which is halfway between 40 and 1600 grams per hectolitre, as proposed by Hampden. The fermentation of the sugar cane is natural and "wild", without the addition of external yeasts and the refinement lasts at least four years in a tropical climate, with its much higher evaporation due to climatic changes, well above the European or North American share. This is a necessary rum to get a full picture of the quality and goodness of Hampden rum.
