BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
James Eadie Caol Ila 8 Year Old is a limited edition release of one of the whisky most famous in the world, namely Caol Ila, the great distillery on the island of Islay now known throughout the globe thanks to its whisky personal, intense and peaty, with the influence of the sea to give depth. In this case the whisky is slightly different from the usual because it was selected by an independent bottler, James Eadie, who had the opportunity to taste various barrels from the distillery and select some to join in a marriage, creating a whisky unique and rare, able to reveal a hidden side of the distillery.
In fact, the official bottlings of Caol Ila are the result of the union of hundreds of barrels, going to standardize the taste to have a rather similar product from year to year and from batch to batch. The goal of a good independent bottler is instead to follow his own taste exclusively, giving life to whisky unique, proud, intense and satisfying for those who drink them.
