Whisky Jim Beam Signature Craft 12 Year Old

BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml

Since 1795 Jim Beam has represented an invaluable heritage of Bourbon history, even before the United States and Kentucky, the home of choice for the company, were born. In 1740 the Boehm family arrived in the United States, reached Kentucky and began growing corn. The immigrant population from Europe had introduced ancient methods of distillation and, in addition to private consumption, the sale began to appear, despite the various prohibitions of the central government and that of individual states. Having changed his surname to Beam, Jacob Beam sold the first barrel in 1795 with his own seal and started a family history that continues today, over 200 years later and eight generations of distillers.

In addition to the classic white label Kentucky Bourbon, the distillery has distinguished itself for limited editions and with peculiar characteristics, of which this 12-year-old is a worthy representative: 12 years of aging in virgin oak barrels might seem an exaggeration precisely due to the strength that the new wood has on whiskey, and this is why the selection is fierce, to avoid covering the distillate too much.

TASTE: Dense, caramel and honey, with spicy lashes of white pepper and cinnamon, then dried fruit and cereal biscuits.

AGING: Virgin American oak charred barrels.

Distillates
Finishing Carbonized virgin American oak barrels.
AROMA Initially spicy and sweetly close to cereals, with biscuits and cereals and honey to complete the bouquet, of great elegance.
