Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition Limited Release is a Bourbon proposed in a limited edition by Kentucky Owl and selected by John Rhea - the Master Blender of Kentucky Owl - and Yahisa Yusuke, the Master Blender of the Japanese distillery Nagahawa. This particular collaboration led to the selection of some barrels from various distilleries in Kentucky and above all combining different ages to give life to a product with an identity of Kentucky but also a contemporary one, also measuring itself with a Japanese "nose", i.e. a school of thought that prefers elegance and refinement, often difficult to find in a young American bourbon. Mission accomplished? One would say so, given that the 25000 bottles offered sold out almost immediately and this is one of the rare occasions to be able to grab this bottle so desired by bourbon collectors all over the world. 'Takumi' means 'Master' in Japanese.
