Nikka Coffey Gin is considered one of the first Japanese gins ever. The raw materials used for this incomparable gin are barley malt and corn distilled in Coffey Still precisely, in the Miyagikyo distillery. The extraordinary aromatic complexity of this gin is due to the infusion of particular varieties of Japanese citrus fruits, including Yuzu and Kabosu, as well as apple and Sansho pepper, which give it personality.
In addition to juniper which is obviously the backbone of the aromatic complexity of this gin, there are also several infusions of unusual Japanese citrus fruits including Kabosu and Yuzu.
