BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
The Whistler Double Oaked is a whiskey Irish with a particular history, consisting of two types of barrels used for aging. The Whistler Double Oaked was born as a Boann distillery label, built in 2016 to ride the world's recent interest in the whisky in general. After a long period of stagnation with few active distilleries, Ireland has caught up with the other producing countries and new capital has been invested to meet the ever-increasing demand: the Boann distillery has only been distilling for a few years, thus managing to offer its own labels in a short time, preferring however to select and distribute under its own brand (The Whistler) some bottles from other Irish distilleries. In this case The Whistler Double Oaked is a mix of whiskey of wheat for 80% and the remainder is whiskey of barley. The refinement takes place in two types of barrels, namely ex bourbon and ex sherry, joined together and bottled at 40 degrees.
TASTE: fruity with fresh fruit and tropical fruit, hints of dried fruit and spices
