Whisky Willett Noah's Mill Bourbon
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
Willett Noah's Mill Bourbon presents a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the whiskey of the United States, thanks to the expertise of the Willett distillery and the high alcohol content, necessary to fully understand the potential of such a little known and so delicious product. The Willett distillery reopened its doors in 2012 and previously marketed various product lines from other distilleries, but selected and united by the internal team.
For this Noah's Mill Bourbon Willett has always used whiskey rather aged, reaching up to twenty years of age: a very high number that is difficult to reach in the United States, where most of the whiskey it is sold well under ten years of ageing. In addition to this remarkable ageing, the high alcohol content (which reaches 57 degrees and is never the same from year to year) allows for two evolutions: the taster can try the whiskey exactly as it comes out of the barrel – without water dilution. This dilution can be governed by the taster, who will gradually add a few drops of water to lower the alcohol content and to observe the changes in the whiskey: like all the greats whiskey, the facets are endless.
TASTE: Dense, intense and spicy, with a sweet component of honey, vanilla and fruit that is never too sweet and always in contrast to spices and the alcoholic, warm and irresistible sensation.
AGING: Virgin American oak charred barrels.
