Whisky Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the strange bottle: when speaking of Willett it is impossible to ignore the famous shape of the bottle, a monument to scale (and available all over the world) of the alembic used to distill the spirit of cereals before passing into the barrel and, finally, into the bottle. Willett is above all an original project and does not depend on any physical distillery, as it is also possible to bottle a whiskey and give it a fancy name, without it being mandatory to include the name of the distillery of origin.
Put on the market for the first time in 2008, since 2015 it is no longer a whiskey from a single barrel but from a small batch, i.e. from the union of several barrels. Willett's distillery reopened in 2012, so it's likely that part of the whiskey contained in this bottle comes from here. Each bottle, depending on the batch of origin, differs by a minimum percentage from another batch: this is the beauty of whisky, or the impossibility of having a standard product year after year: simply because time cannot be governed.
TASTE: Sweetness of honey and vanilla before citrus fruits and part of the wood, with spices and dried fruit
AGING: Virgin American oak charred barrels.

AROMA | Fresh fruit and red fruit, from sour cherry to cherry, with touches of citrus peel and vanilla. |
