Whisky Scottish Single Malt which was distilled in 1997 in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands by the Highland Park distillery to be bottled in 2019 after 21 years in hogshead refill casks, thanks to the independent bottler Douglas Laing. It is released for the XOP (Xtra Old Particular) range at the natural strength of 51.9% vol with a production of only 298 bottles.

The XOP bottlings represent the best of Douglas Laing; only the best Single Casks of the Laing family are released with this label. Each expression is bottled as Natural Cask Strength and presented in a luxurious wooden box, with a glass stopper and an individually numbered certificate and label.
TASTE: Salted caramel notes with a hint of smoke and creamy malt; in the finish we perceive lemon peel and vegetal hints.
AGING: Hogshead oak refill barrel.
