Raise your hand who has ever tasted a whisky Indian! Few? Very few? Almost no one? Although in Italy this nation is not well known for the production of whisky, for some years India has been on a par with many other nations that are entering the world of coffee production whisky alongside the historic giants (Scotland, Ireland and the USA above all).
India has a large distillery called Amrut, responsible for many whisky which have won important awards and collected very high scores from experts from all over the world, thanks to constant improvement in distillation and above all in the research of raw materials, fundamental in this activity. Furthermore, tropical countries have a much higher annual percentage of evaporation than Scotland: if in the green island this annual percentage travels between 1 and 2%, in India it can touch the two figures. This obliges the distillery to reduce the years of refinement, a faster refinement which allows for a more accentuated maturity even after a few years of permanence in the bottle.
This Triparva is unique whisky Indian produced with triple distillation, a limited series of a few thousand bottles dedicated to the most curious enthusiasts. A little treat.
TASTE: Intense, intense ripe fruit, to continue on notes of cocoa and honey. Again the spices to surround the fruity part, predominant and of great elegance.
AGING: Oak barrels.
