Arran Barrel Reserve is the whisky entry into the renewed panorama of Arran's bottlings, the distillery that since 1992 has been proceeding to create a well-deserved fame thanks to bottles that are always centered and widely appreciated in every whisky world bars. Arran's style built slowly and today encompasses quite a range of whisky honest, who keep what they promise, from the research of raw materials of production and refinements always at the forefront, from the sober but contemporary packaging, without fireworks but only lots and lots of substance. In this Arran Barrel Reserve it is somewhat the calling card of the distillery, introducing the style and philosophy of the Isle of Arran distillery. The refinement involves an undeclared period but which should be around seven years in American oak barrels that previously contained American bourbon: nothing new, but nothing better to get to know and love the whisky of Arran.
