Whisky Glen Moray Peated
CARTONED BOTTLE 700 ml
Glen Moray is Scotland's most northerly distillery in the Speyside area. The distillery has been active since 1897 and since then has used the same source of water and the same distillation techniques, replacing the stills with perfect copies when necessary. The area where the distillery is located is dominated by cereal fields, just as the mild and slightly less harsh climate compared to the rest of Scotland protects the distillery and the refinement of the whisky.
Un whisky elegant and graceful aged for a long time in the oak barrels on which Glen Moray employees continue to study to improve the quality of the woods owned by the distillery more and more. Already from the name this Glen Moray Peated reveals its peculiarity, namely the peat that colors the Glen Moray malt with its typical notes: although we cannot speak of a whisky “heavily peated”, peat still manages to be talked about.
TASTE: Smoked without being intrusive, the fruity part is always present, yellow fruit, with hints of wildflower honey, white pepper and tropical fruit. Some notes of citrus and cereals.
AGING: American ex Bourbon oak barrels.
