Poli Distilleries is a grappa-producing company located in the Veneto region near Bassano del Grappa. The name Bassano del Grappa was given by the fascist government in 1928 to pay homage to the many heroes who had sacrificed themselves for their country on Monte Grappa. Bassano del Grappa is in fact located at the foot of the mountain and played a very important role during the liberation .

Soldiers in the war were supplied with abundant rations of brandy and, precisely on that occasion, the soldiers who came from Southern and Central Italy got to know grappa. 

Grappa Bassano Classica Poli is obtained from the pomace of the DOC BREGANZE vines, it is a young grappa that can also be served to correct coffee. Grappa Bassano Classica Poli is produced with artisanal distillation, in small batches, with a copper alembic with discontinuous cycle steam boilers. 

In Bassano del Grappa, in front of the Ponte Vecchio, symbol of the city, depicted on the label, is the Poli Grappa Museum, founded by Jacopo and Cristina Poli to promote and raise awareness of this precious Italian distillate.
