Grappa Bric del Gaian Berta is a Piedmontese grappa symbol of a great peasant and agricultural history, just as Berta has always been doing. The story tells of this gentleman Galliano, a gruff but good-natured DOC Piedmontese who particularly cared about a vineyard planted with muscat grapes which stood a few steps from the Berta distillery. Today Mr Galliano is no longer in this vineyard but is busy elsewhere, yet his image has remained engraved in the memory of the Berta family who have decided to dedicate a label to him, and not just any label. Grappa Bric del Gaian Berta is a grappa made from muscat grape pomace aged for at least eight years in wooden barrels, making it as soft as the gentle slope on which the Gaian vineyard stood: the hill that can be seen from the windows of the distillery Bertha. A fascinating story like that of the Berta company, capable of ennobling the distillation of grappa and carrying the tricolor flag high throughout the world, thanks to grappas that are always centered, of great company and with firm roots in the soil from which they come.
