Grappa Cleopatra Moscato Oro Poli
700ml BOTTLE
The Poli artisan distillery born in 1898 has begun to create a range of reserve grappas whose pomace is distilled with an innovative alembic. This alembic is inspired by the first alembic in history which, an alchemist of ancient Egypt, wanted to use to try to distill metals.
After several attempts, the distillery has completed the work of creating this new alembic, inspired by the past, calling it Crysopea, from the Greek chrysos, gold and poirò, to make, which distills in a vacuum bain-marie with a column without plates, the pomace chosen by Poli to produce this line of Oro grappas.
As for the Cleopatra Moscato, the Moscato grapes are taken in the province of Padua, on the Euganean Hills. In particular, the Moscato bianco and Moscato fior d'arancio grapes are used. Definitely much appreciated for its balance and fine elegance. Aromas of fresh fruit and honey accompany the soft and enveloping taste of this elegant grappa
