Grappa Monte Acuto Berta
700ml BOTTLE
Grappa Monte Acuto Berta is a grappa symbol of the Roero and of the Berta company which has always aimed to defend and raise awareness of the territory in which it lives and operates. Monte Acuto, as the company website rightly states, was once surrounded by the sea and in the millions of years since then it has experienced every type of evolution and revolution, becoming somewhat of a symbol and guardian of Roero, the wine-growing area a few steps from Alba and the denominations of Barolo and Barbaresco. To make a further contribution to making this special area known, Berta thought of making a peculiar grappa by bringing together three symbolic varieties of the Roero, namely Arneis - Barbera - Nebbiolo, with long aging in various types of wood and barrels. Berta was founded in 1866 as a winery and after a few decades discovered its true vocation with distillation, quickly becoming a symbol of Piedmontese and Roero resourcefulness in creating small masterpieces but continuing to remain down to earth or, better said, in the field and in the vineyard.
