Grappa Rondena Berta is a perfect example of Made in Italy, thanks to the Berta family who have been involved in the distillation of the noble Italian spirit for many years now. After many years of obscurity, today Grappa is building a solid reputation and there are many prestigious labels, especially those of Berta and other producing families. This Grappa Rondena Berta is a 100% Italian distillate in all respects, the distillation of the Rondinella pomace of Venetian origin is the union between the Veneto of Amarone and the Langhe of the noble red wines and of the Berta family. The Berta family has been involved in distillation since 1866 (a few years after the unification of Italy) and since then generations have always followed one another with a view to distilling the pomace of the harvest and preserving the intrinsic quality. Grappa Rondena Berta takes its name from the Venetian dialect word for Rondinella, one of the grapes from which Amarone and Valpolicella Superiore are produced. The refinement lasts five years, divided into two years in thousand-litre barrels and the following three years in barriques. Berta is now giving enthusiasts a series of labels that are impressive in terms of their organoleptic quality and adherence to the tradition of real Grappa.
