Grappa di Barolo 20 Years Special Reserve Sibona

The history of this incredible grappa dates back to 1985, when the Sibona distillery found a hidden barrique, rather than a "forgotten" one. This barrique contained a precious distillate, a Nebbiolo grappa from Barolo that had been forgotten there since 1985. With this first edition, they therefore discovered that it allows the distillate to rest for a long time, making it concentrated in aromas and in limited quantities.

As for the second edition, that is the grappa in question, it was distilled in 1998 and after its patient rest of 20 years in barrique it is soft, rich with strong notes of vanilla.

This long aging had to be celebrated, in fact the Sibona distillery has created an elegant wooden box.
