Whisky Kujira 15 Year Old Ryukyu Single Grain

700ml BOTTLE

Kujira 15 Year Old Ryukyu Single Grain is a whisky obtained from the fermentation and distillation of the highest quality rice, all under the watchful eye of the team that runs the Masahiro distillery. The refinement is entrusted to three types of casks, i.e. ex sherry, ex bourbon and virgin American oak for a rather demanding period of 15 years, a rarity if we refer to the current panorama of whisky Japanese. After studying the subject for 80 years, Japan began to make its voice heard in the early 2000s and today it knows an extraordinary and international fame, thanks to the praise of critics and world awards. The use of rice as a raw material is a natural consequence for this nation, thus coming to mix two cultures and to derive the greatest possible benefits from them, thanks to the propensity for perfectionism that this (and other companies) has.
