Distilled with a Coffey Still column alembic, this single malt whisky is produced by the Nikka distillery. The Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky it's a whisky particular because it is produced with a different still from the classic Pot Still with which the whisky, or the Coffey alembic which takes its name from its inventor (and not from strange coffee influences as the name might suggest).

The barrels of various ages are selected with care and imagination by the master blender who has the right to choose any barrel inside the Miyagikyo warehouses, one of the two main distilleries of the Nikka group together with Yoichi.

TASTE

Un whisky lively and sour nose, fresh and citrusy on the palate, hints of coffee and vanilla and licorice. In the finish, aromas of plums develop.
