Pike Creek 10 Year Old Rum Barrels represents one of the very few opportunities to taste a whisky Canadian with non-traditional refinement, in this case with a final period of aging in barrels that previously contained rum. The Pike Creek distillery does not exist in the strict sense of the term, but it is one of the many branches of the giant Hiram Walker, a company that has part of its warehouses in the Windsor area in Ontario called Pike Creek. Here the company decided to create a brand to better appreciate the whisky Canadian, also trying to get away from the classic styles to give fans from all over the world the opportunity to appreciate the uniqueness of this whisky.

Pike Creek is a blend of whisky of malt and of whisky of rye with ten years of aging in traditional ex bourbon oak barrels before a final aging in ex rum barrels.

TASTE: again on the sweetness of caramel and brown sugar, almond and nuts, spices and red fruits
