Expression created by Adelphi in collaboration with Whisky Fusion, which represents the fifth and latest release of The Glover, a unique blend composed of Scotch Whisky of Ardnamurchan and Single Malt whisky Japanese from the Chichibu distillery. THE whisky both come from first fill ex Bourbon barrels aged for 4 years.
This whisky it is bottled at an alcohol content of 54,7% vol. and takes its name from the "Scottish Samurai" Thomas Blake Glover, who initiated trade between Japan and Great Britain in the 19th century and was also the first foreigner to receive the Order of the Rising Sun from the Japanese Emperor.
TASTE: Balanced with notes of pineapple cake, mandarin juice, barley and lemon candies.
AGING: First-fill American oak ex Bourbon barrels.
