Tomatin 14 Year Old Port Finish is a splendid one whisky of the Highlands proposed by a distillery that is not very well known but of great importance, with a unique history. Tomatin is considered a museum distillery because part of the establishments date back to the 1800s and simple renovations took place, without changing the internal and above all external structure too much. In addition to this, being far from inhabited centers, the employees and managers live with their families around the distillery, creating a small community as was the custom in the 1800s, when the distillery was present in every small inhabited center playing a social and aggregation, as much as the church or the market.

Tomatin is back at full speed to propose whisky high level after a difficult period between 1980 and the beginning of 2000, when production restarted and it was decided to create an important proposal. This Tomatin 14 Year Old Port Finish is one of whisky with indication of age and the peculiarity of a final passage in barrels that previously contained Port.

TASTE: More red fruit, cherry and black cherry, then cocoa and spices, dried fruit

AGING: American oak barrels ex Bourbon and barrels ex Porto.
