Limestone Branch Distilling has been a company dedicated to distillation since 1872, crossing the history of the United States, passing through Prohibition and two World Wars. From what must have been a small family-run business of the Beam brothers, Stephen and Paul, today Limestone is an important and well-known brand in the United States, while in Europe and Italy it still belongs to the world of whiskey niche. In addition to the classic line, Limestone releases a special edition every year with peculiar characteristics, different from the usual versions of whiskey Yellowstone that can be found with regularity. It is therefore a limited edition with a fair capacity to increase in value in the years to come.

Returning to whiskey, it is a blend of the best barrels selected from warehouses, barrels aged between 9 and 12 years: this is a rather high figure, as aging in new (virgin) wood barrels is difficult to manage for many years, the new wood heavily marking the distillate contained. You must be very careful and check regularly: a practice that Limestone does every day.

TASTE: It continues with notes of wood, intense and elegant, then red fruit and dried fruit, dates and hazelnuts. Honey, caramel and spices for a long persistence.

AGING: Virgin American oak charred barrels.
