Whisky Aerstone 10 Year Old Sea Cask
700ml BOTTLE
Aerstone 10 Year Old Sea Cask is one of the two sides of the whisky of Aerstone, or a brand owned by the William Grant group, a company that owns large and well-known distilleries such as Glenfiddich and Balvenie, but which also owns a small distillery in the Lowlands which takes the name of Ailsa Bay.
Ailsa Bay has only been around for a few years and produces some of the whisky in his own name and part instead takes a different path: William Grant has in fact decided to create a double version of his whisky of entry, giving two completely different nuances that are obtained from a different refinement. The barrels that contain this whisky for over ten years, in fact, they rested near the sea, on the Ayrshire coast, also in Scotland, in an area that is as beautiful as it is harsh in terms of weather and adverse climatic conditions. The influence of the sea is evident as soon as you put your nose on this one whisky, a sign that refinement is one of the fundamental ingredients for having a great product, in this case even at a small price.
