Whisky Aultmore 12 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
Aultmore 12 Year Old is not a simple one whisky like many others but it is the first official bottling for the Aultmore distillery, a company founded by Alexander Edward in 1896 and since then always active in distillation, however diverting the entire production to the creation of various blended, especially for the Dewar's group, of which the distillery it's part. On the label you can read Foggie Moss which is the name of the geographical area where Aultmore is located, in Speyside. Before this bottle it was difficult to try one whisky single malt from Aultmore, we had to be content with a few bottlings by independent bottlers, while for a few years now – thanks also to a revival movement in the whisky single malt – has led Dewar's to also structure proposals from distilleries dedicated to something else. Aging for 12 years in oak barrels mostly ex Bourbon and bottling at an interesting alcohol content of 46% vol.
TASTE: Initially sweet with spicy notes of white pepper, fresh citrus and dried fruit.
AGING: Oak barrels.
