The barrel that contained this whisky previously contained Marsala wine, a rarity that greatly expands the organoleptic aspect of the whisky being able to count on a wine produced in Italy of undoubted character. The decision to use such a barrel is peculiar and calls for careful management to avoid exacerbating the winy trait and completely distorting the wine.
