Whisky Chieftain's Glenturret 17 Year Old 1990
700ml BOTTLE
Chieftain's Glenturret 17 Year Old 1990 is a whisky Scotch from Glenturret distillery in the Highlands and created by Chieftain's, a collection from independent bottler Ian MacLeod. Ian MacLeod is a company that precisely aims to research and select single casks in various distilleries in Scotland (and recently also in the rest of the world) in order to keep them in their warehouses and decide when to bottle them with their own name in label, or insert them in the various blends that expand the proposal. In this case the selection was made from three Glenturret casks – numbered 650, 651 and 659 – distilled on the same day in October 1990 and left to refine until September 2008, thus reaching an abundant 17 years.
The Glenturret distillery is not well known because official bottlings are very rare, less than a dozen: thanks to the intervention of the independent bottler we can enjoy a nice dram of this Scottish distillery.

AGING: in hogshead oak barrels
